Key Responsibilities
- Content Strategy & Planning
- Research industry trends, audience insights, and competitor content to inform strategy
- Develop monthly and quarterly content calendars aligned with business objectives
- Ideate and pitch new content formats (video, blog, carousel, live events, etc.)
- Content Creation & Production
- Write, edit, and produce high-impact content: social posts, blogs, video scripts, graphics (with designer), and email campaigns
- Capture and edit short-form video and event content (on-site and remote)
- Repurpose long-form content into micro-content for various channels
- Publishing & Distribution
- Schedule and post content across all relevant platforms using tools such as Gohighlevel and Meta Business Suite
- Optimize publishing times and formats for maximum reach and engagement
- Community Management
- Monitor, respond to, and escalate direct messages and comments in a timely, professional manner
- Spark conversations, answer questions, and nurture relationships in our online community
- Identify and engage with influencers, partners, and key voices in our space
- Analytics & Reporting
- Track content and engagement metrics; analyze performance and recommend optimizations
- Deliver weekly & monthly reports on growth, reach, and community sentiment
- Collaboration & Innovation
- Coordinate with leadership, guest experts, and other team members to align messaging
- Stay up-to-date with platform changes and best practices to keep our content fresh and effective
KPIs
- Growth in social followers and engagement rates (monthly)
- Increase in inbound leads or inquiries from content (monthly/quarterly)
- Response rate and response time to DMs and comments (weekly)
- Content output (posts, blogs, videos, etc.) vs. calendar
- Traffic, watch time, or conversions generated by content
Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years in content strategy, digital marketing, or community management (preferably in education, tech, or professional services)
- Demonstrated experience creating and executing content strategies that drive measurable results
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Video production/editing skills (basic to intermediate; advanced a plus)
- Proficiency with social media publishing and analytics tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Opus, Sprout, native platforms)
- Strong research skills—can quickly synthesize trends and translate into actionable content
- Community management experience: DMs, comments, forums, groups
- Tech-savvy; comfortable learning new tools and platforms quickly
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
Bonus Skills
- Design skills (Canva, Adobe, etc.)
- Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, ConvertKit, etc.)
- Familiarity with SEO and blog content
- Experience working with public figures or executive brands
- Knowledge of business analysis, consulting, or education sectors
